- Stephen Arnold Added 2018-06-06★ ★ ★ ★ ★Fort Hemlock is a favourite luncheon stop on our way through Smiths Falls. From either the outdoor patio or an indoor dining room, it has a spectacular view. You can see a waterfall, a generation plant, a six storey heritage building and a tall water tower. Inside, our server is very friendly and helpful. For example, he noticed a belonging we left behind. He picked it up and went outside to catch up with us and return it. We also enjoyed the fish tacos, the grilled haddock and great coffee.
